Melania Trump Once Revealed the Trick Donald Trump Used to Romance Her despite a 24-Year Age Gap
The First Lady candidly talked about how her husband, Donald Trump, first managed to catch her attention and win her heart.
Melania and Donald Trump met for the first time in 1988 at a nightclub when the First Lady was only 28 years old and the US President was 52 years old.
In an interview, Melania revealed that they had a strong connection and shared great chemistry right from the start.
However, the then supermodel was cautious about simply handing Donald her phone number. So when the billionaire approached her, she refused to give him her number.
Instead, Melania simply asked Donald to give her his number. “It tells you a lot from the man what kind of number he gives you,” Melania said.
She explained that if she would simply hand Donald her number, she would be “just one of the women” he calls. So, she wanted to see if Donald would hand her his business number.
In another interview with Hapers Bazaar, Melania explained that she wasn’t interested in his business number because she was not doing any business with him. Receiving business number from Donald meant to her that he wasn’t serious at all.
However, Donald pulled a surprising move. “He gave me all of his numbers,” said Melania.
After that, Melania waited around a week to give her future husband a call. “I’m not starstruck. We had a great connection, we had great chemistry, but I was not starstruck. And maybe he noticed that,” she shared.
MELANIA "STRUCK" BY DONALD'S ENERGY
The First Lady revealed that she was actually “struck by his energy.”
Previously, Donald also revealed his side of the story about meeting Melania for the first time. Speaking to CNN’s Larry King, Donald explained that he “went crazy” after meeting Melania for the first time.
He wasn’t even supposed to meet her that day and was actually out on a date with another person. But he ended up being drawn to Melania and asking for her number.
Melania has had a remarkable journey from her days of modeling to her rise as the First Lady of the United States. Today, she stands as one of the most vocal supporters and a loyal advocate of the Trump presidency.
