Here’s the Reason Melania Hides Her Face behind Sunglasses so Often, According to an Expert

First Lady Melania Trump recently came under fire for not letting go of her sunglasses during the 75th D-Day commemoration. Many people might not know it, but there is a heartbreaking reason why she often opts to keep her eyes hidden behind the accessory.

The First Lady is rarely seen without her shades no matter what the occasion, and she decided to keep them on during the D-Day commemoration in Normandy, France as well. Little did she know that she would be slammed for it.

While some dubbed her choice to shield her eyes during the somber as “disrespectful” and “rude”, others believe that there is a sad reason behind Melania’s choice to keep those shades on.

According to fashion psychologist Dawnn Karen, Melania wears her sunglasses to avoid public scrutiny. He said:

"She tends to wear sunglasses and hats to shield herself from the public eye. As she's stated in previous interviews, she often feels as though she is being bullied."

Dawnn further opined that in addition to shades, the First Lady also uses hats to shield herself from the public.

“I believe that the hat serves as armour of some sort. When she's looking out into the audience, she cannot see the entire crowd due to her sunglasses or her hat," the expert added.
