The former governor of the Bank of Canada and England had kept his wife out of the spotlight throughout the leadership campaign.

Mark Carney's wife, Diana Fox Carney, made a rare public appearance to support him after Canada's ruling Liberals elected him as their new party leader in Ottawa, Ontario, on Sunday, March 9. Her presence drew public attention, sparking various reactions.

At the political event, Diana wore a red pantsuit, while Mark opted for a navy blue suit. They held hands in a show of support, prompting public reactions to the pictures shared online.

Vance and his wife, Usha Chilukuri Vance, attended Washington, D.C.'s Commander-in-Chief Ball. While the event itself was the main highlight, netizens were equally captivated by the second lady's elegant look.

After seeing a video of the Vances standing next to President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump during their first dance to The Battle Hymn of the Republic, social media users couldn't help but admire Usha's floor-length dress. Using two Instagram pictures, Oscar de la Renta took credit for designing the second lady's inauguration look. One photo showed Usha walking and smiling, while the other one showed her beaming as her husband was inaugurated as Vice President.

J.D.'s wife also described him as a "really good person," and hopes that people would take the time to listen to his words to understand their meaning and purpose.
