Susan Lucci of 'All My Children' Looks Ageless in Beach Photo Taken by Her Husband Helmut Huber

Susan Lucci has always been dedicated to her fitness and looks like it’s still paying off. The 71-year-old actress looks stunning in a new beach photo posted on Instagram.

Age is merely a number for Susan Lucci.

The “All My Children” star looked ageless as she donned a chic black swimsuit while posing on the beach.

The perfect shot was captured by her husband, Helmut Huber, who she married on September 13, 1969, after breaking off her engagement with another man.

In an interview with Harpers Bazaar, the famous soap opera actress revealed what it was like to use Instagram for the first time.

“I’m a private person by nature, so at first I really didn’t think it was for me. I put on a bikini, my husband took some pictures, and a friend of mine said, ‘You need to post this shot on Instagram!’”

She said that the reaction that followed after she first started posting was “unexpected and flattering.”

Susan eventually figured out that the social media platform is a great way to stay relevant and connect with her fans.

At 71, the “All My Children” star is as beautiful and active as ever.

“I feel as good now as I ever did in my 20s and 30s, maybe even better physically.”

SHE RECENTLY WENT THROUGH A HEART SURGERY

When Susan started to have a tight feeling in her chest, she dismissed it at first and thought that it would go away eventually, which it did.

To her surprise, the pain returned 10 days later and once more, the actress thought that the tightness was caused by her bra.

The third time, however, was worse than the initial two. Susan felt the pain more intensely and she finally decided to see a doctor.

After visiting St. Francis Hospital, she discovered that her main artery was 90% blocked and another artery was 70% blocked.

Luckily, the doctors inserted a pair of stents into her heart to ease circulation and her life was saved.
