Mary J. Blige Celebrated 4th of July in Cut-Out Swimsuit That Showed Her Toned Abs
Mary J. Blige sizzles in a cut-out swimsuit as she soaks up the sun in celebration of the 4th of July. The award-winner singer who's "happy with just Mary" proves she's every inch lust-worthy.
While fireworks lit up the sky on the fourth of July, Mary J. Blige put on quite a show herself flaunting her gorgeous body in a revealing swimsuit.
AT THE PRIME OF HER LIFE
Fresh from receiving her Lifetime Achievement Award from BET, Blige proved she’s still at her prime as she hit up the sun in time for the holiday weekend. Content as a single woman since her divorce from Kendu Isaacs, Blige let it known to the world that she is a woman men should lust for.
“Enjoy your day. Live life and know it’s only one you!”
AN EYE-POPPING 4TH OF JULY DISPLAY
The 48-year-old music icon who admitted finding peace after her divorce was every inch a temptress wearing a pale orange one piece with a giant-cutout in the middle that showcased her impressive abs. The curves formed by the cut-out accentuated the perfect curves of the singer’s voluptuous tattooed body.
“Enjoy your day. Live life and know it’s only one you!” the Queen of R&B Soul wrote to caption the summer pic set in the water where Blige submerges herself a third of the way. Her frizzy blonde hair remains dry as she stands with her arms on her hips revealing her toned arms.
"HAPPY WITH JUST MARY"
Blige has been relishing the single life since her divorce from Isaacs after close to 14 years of marriage. She admits her music has become therapeutic in allowing her to move on.
“I think that I realized that no matter what comes to me, no matter how big or bad it is, I have to keep moving, I have to keep living."
Back in 2017, the singer opened up about her decision to finally end her marriage after learning her husband had been unfaithful during their marriage. It was only last year when she finally came to terms with that painful decision.
“I think I turned that corner when I got my divorce,” she explained to People. “I think that I realized that no matter what comes to me, no matter how big or bad it is, I have to keep moving, I have to keep living. I said, ‘No, I’m not going to stay in this marriage. I’m out of here.’ That’s what thriving is about.”
And thrive she certainly did. Today, she confesses, she’s “happy with just Mary.” She’s single, contented, and grateful.
