Tupac-Loving Iowa Official Fired after Mass Emailing Late Rapper's Lyrics
The aged director of Department of Human Services in Iowa was made to resign a day after he sent out emails containing Tupac’s lyrics to the company’s employees.
A longtime fan of the late rapper, Tupac Shakur lost his job because he could not create a borderline between work and his obsession with the rapper.

OFFICIAL FORCED TO RESIGN
Jerry Foxhoven was an official at Iowa, holding the position of Director of the Department of Human Services since his employment in 2017. The 66-year-old law professor didn't expect to get terminated a day after his favorite rapper’s birthday anniversary.

To mark the star’s anniversary on June 16th, the official sent emails to over four thousand staffs of the company, requesting them to listen to one of the rap legend’s songs.
And the next day, he was asked to tender his resignation from his position in the company.
IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING
It was no secret that the official was a big fan of the legendary hip hop star. He made this known openly to all his colleagues at work, who have witnessed him display his love for the late star with grand gestures.
The rap fan was known for his habit of sending random messages to employees to promote Tupac’s music. He has also been hosting special “Tupac Fridays,” set aside for openly playing the late star’s music in the organization.

During his two years in Iowa, the 66-year-old who claimed that the rap artist’s music was his inspiration tried to use the rap star’s image to improve the culture of the company.
IOWA HAS REMAINED SILENT
When questioned about the reason for Foxhoven’s sudden termination, the Iowa leading official denied that it was on account of his earlier mass email, but refused to give a reason for the agency’s decision.
The professor of law was also reluctant to admit that he lost his job due to his Tupac obsession, saying he was not given a reason for his enforced resignation.

EMPLOYEES’ OPINIONS
Many of the employees at Iowa revealed that they did not have a problem with the professor’s obsession and constant emails. Some even expressed their happiness to have someone like him around to lighten up the otherwise stressful work environment.
However, according to email records released by the organization, one of the employee’s filed a complaint against the hip hop fan last year over his alleged work disturbances.
