Serena Williams Puts Toned Legs on Display in Neon Heels on Sports Illustrated Cover
Serena Williams stuns in her latest cover for Sports Illustrated where she flashes her legs wearing a white swimsuit and neon heels. The style star also opens up about her bold sense of style in the accompanying cover story.
We’ve seen her legs on the hardcourt many times. However, when Serena Williams flaunted them in her latest cover for Sports Illustrated, it’s as if we’re seeing them for the first time – and we’re completely flabbergasted.
LEGS ON THE COVER
No one rocks a fashion spread like the tennis superstar who delights in her passion in designing as much as she does in her sport. Serena proves she can blend both interests effortlessly which made her the perfect cover girl for the sports publication’s Fashionable 50 issue.
The publication’s annual Fashionable 50 issue celebrates stylish athletes and no one epitomizes that like Serena.
Stripped down to a white swimsuit, a white robe to partly cover up and neon heels, Serena’s pic boasted of toned legs on full display. She raised one on top of a pillar exhibiting the result of years of sports training that led her to her many successes as a tennis pro.
“I always try to make a statement when I walk out on the court—to be bold and to be unique and to kind of transcend."
THE EPITOME OF A STYLISH SPORTSWOMAN
But Serena’s foray into the publication’s front page wasn’t all about her gorgeous legs or the sport that developed them. It was also about her sense of style which reigns supreme both in and out of the tennis court. In fact, the publication’s annual Fashionable 50 issue celebrates stylish athletes and no one epitomizes that like Serena.

ON MAKING BOLD CHOICES
“My whole career has been really about tennis and fashion,” the 37-year-old shares in her cover story. She adds that her style has always been about delivering a message of empowerment.

It was her boldness that drove the ambitious star to develop her own clothing line, S by Serena despite failing in her first two attempts in entrepreneurship.
CONFIDENCE ABOUNDS
This confidence is what drove Serena to break barriers when she showed up in last year’s French Open in a black catsuit. It was also the same confidence that enabled her to transcend the controversy that erupted when the French Tennis Federation banned the outfit in succeeding games.

GOING BLONDE
This weekend, the mother of two-year-old Olympia showed up at the launch event for her Sports Illustrated cover sporting blonde hair.
