John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's 1-Year-Old Son Miles Caught on Camera Taking His 'First Real Steps'

On Tuesday, Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to share a video of her son taking his “first real steps.” Her son appeared to be stumbling towards her in the short clip.

John Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen, 33, was luckily on hand with her camera when her baby boy took his first steps. Miles Theodore, 14-months-old, was recorded as he attempted to walk towards his mother while holding a toy car.

The little boy quickly balanced himself on a piece of furniture in front of him as he squealed. The cute little boy only took around three steps but that was more than enough for the toddler’s mother!

Teigen could be heard congratulating Miles saying “Good job, you took a step!” She captioned the post with a question: “I think I just caught his first real steps! Does this count?”

Legend, 40, and Teigen are also daughter Luna Simone, 3. Last month, Miles’ mother shared that the toddler could take his first steps while on their family vacation abroad.

She added an adorable photo of the little boy seemingly ready to stand in the grass and walk. She captioned the image writing: “I think someone’s gonna take his first steps in Italy! oh dear.”

The family’s vacation country is special for the famous couple because it’s where they held their wedding in Como near the end of summer 2013. In May, Miles’ parents celebrated his first birthday by hosting a bear-themed party.

Legend and Teigen hired a special pony ride and also had a bear-shaped cake for the occasion. The party wouldn’t have been complete without Miles’ family singing “Happy Birthday” to him.

Teigen’s mother Vilailuck Teigen recorded and shared a video of the couple and their daughter singing to the toddler who appeared to be confused by the commotion. The little boy stuck to the theme by wearing a blue checkered shirt and bear bib.

The model and television host could be seen sitting while holding Miles who was seated on the table with his cake in front of them. Teigen sits with Miles in front of his cake.

After the song is done the parents lean in with their children to blow out the single cake before Teigen encourages her son to touch the cake. Miles surprised his parents by arriving three weeks before his June 7, 2018, due date.

For Legend’s 40th birthday which was in late December 2018, his family chose to throw him a belated celebration on January 12, 2019. Teigen took to social media with two images of her son asking for help in choosing the perfect outfit for him.

In the post, she called Miles “mini-john” because of his incredible likeness to his father.
