Sunday night in Nashville, I walked off stage for the final time on my #IAmBecoming tour. After 34 stops, from Chicago to Copenhagen and Vancouver to Atlanta, I couldn’t be more humbled—or more hopeful. I started this journey knowing that in order for you all to know who I was, you had to know my whole story—the broken parts, the struggles, and the imperfections. It wasn’t always easy to share those moments, but I know that it’s only because of them that I was able to become something more. So thank you all—all the young people I met along the way, all the folks sitting in the balconies, all the book clubs who generated real discussions—for recognizing that truth in your own lives, and for sharing it not just with me but with the world. If each of us can do more of that, if we can be a little more vulnerable, a little more honest with ourselves and with each other, then maybe we can pay that lesson forward to someone else. Maybe we’ll be able to offer each other a little more grace. And maybe then, we can more fully embrace the ways we are the same. To me, that’s how we can all keep becoming, together.

PRETTY IN A WHITE DRESS

Michelle dressed in a white dress that stopped at her knee, and she paired it with a Gianvito Rossi wedge that sells for $845. The top of the wedge is brown goat leather, and the 3.5 inch is from cork.

The former first lady wore her shoulder-length hair in its natural curls; she carried a white bag, with a navy blue and yellow scarf attached to the strap.

The mum-of-two covered her eyes with sunglasses, and celebrities, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lily Aldridge, Georgia May Jagger, and Olivia Munn, were in her company at the luncheon.

The visit to the Greenwich hotel is the published author's second; in 2012, she was in the company of celebrities at a fundraiser for her husband, Barack Obama's reelection campaign.

MICHELLE GIVES ADVICE AS GOOD AS SHE DRESSES

Michelle left the hotel in high spirits, and she was also that way during her speaking engagement at a college signing day in Philadelphia. The event honors Philadelphia students in their pursuit of a college degree.

The former FLOTUS told her audience not to get carried away with the freedom being away at college gives them. She said the students should limit the time they use to party, and ensure they get enough sleep.

The author asked the college-bound students, to ensure that they pay attention to their physical and mental health; she advised them to network among fellow first-year students, and take part in extracurricular activities.

MICHELE'S FASHION EVOLUTION

Michelle is one of the fashion icons of the 21st century, and she's come a long way since the world got introduced to her style.

In April, the "Becoming" author wore an emerald green panther tuxedo to a speaking engagement in Oslo, during her book tour.

In March, the New York bestseller wore a Johanna Ortiz outfit, for her interview with Jimmy Kimmel at the Tacoma Dome, Washington, and in December 2018, the former first lady wore a striped Balmain suit with a black V-neck top on the set of "The Tonight Show."

Michelle's fashion continues to evolve, as she continues to inspire young women with her grace and style.
