Melanie Griffith and Daughter Dakota Johnson Spotted Going out Together in Los Angeles

Dakota Johnson looked laid back as she went out in Los Angeles with her mother, Melanie Griffith, during her break from productions.

Mother-daughter duo, Melanie Griffith and Dakota Johnson were spotted entering a limousine in Los Angeles on Sunday. Johnson currently has films in work but made use of her break to spend time with her mother.

MOTHER-DAUGHTER DUO

The “Fifty Shades” star looked comfortable in a white sweatshirt, faded blue jeans, and sneakers. She completed her laid-back look with a loose bun with a few strands falling on the side.

On the other hand, Griffith opted for a more elegant look as she donned in a patterned black spaghetti-strap floor-length dress, and accessorized with a dark brown purse. Like her daughter, the 61-year-old’s hair was put up in a loose messy bun.

BUSY FILMING

Johnson has been busy with a few films in the works, including the post-production of two movies. She will be starring in the movie “The Friend,” together with Jason Segel, Casey Affleck, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

Her latest movie is “The Peanut Butter Falson” where she will be co-stars with Shia LaBeouf and Bruce Dern. The film will be previewed on the big screen on August 9 in the U.S.

DAKOTA AND CHRIS

Johnson was reported to have split up with her long-term partner, Chris Martin after he told his friends they were over. Rumors of their romance began after they were spotted having an intimate dinner in October of 2017.

The following month, the couple was seen having fun in the sound booth of a Coldplay concert. Finally, the two showed physical affection after they held hands and stuck to each other at Ellen DeGeneres’ 69th birthday party.

Martin’s ex, Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly gave him her approval of Johnson, stating that she wanted what would bring happiness to his life. The two were married in 2004 but ended in divorce ten years later. However, they share two kids, Moses and Apple.
