Hoda Kotb Congratulates Jenna Bush Hager on Giving Birth
Jenna Bush Hager just gave birth, and her co-host and good friend Hoda Kotb was among the first to congratulate her on Instagram.
Jenna Bush Hager is officially a mom of three after announcing the arrival of her son on Friday. The “Today” host took to Instagram to share the good news and share a glimpse of their newborn.
Hoda Kotb, her co-host, quickly shared in Hager’s excitement and commented on the post which included a photo of Hager holding her son on the hospital bed, while her husband sat beside them.
“Precious!!!!! The world just got a little better,” Kotb said with three heart emojis.

Hager took time to share her happiness with PEOPLE as she welcomed her bundle of joy. She also explained their baby’s name, where it came from, and how they decided to combine it.
“He is named Henry after many on his father’s side, including his dear dad and his paternal grandfather. Harold comes from my maternal grandfather, Pa, who I loved dearly and was unable to keep a son long enough to name,” she revealed.
Baby Hal joins his two older sisters, Margaret “Mila” Laura, 6, and Poppy Louise, 3. Hager added that her two girls are “thrilled” to have a new sibling and refers to the little one as “Hal Pal.”
Before Hager became a TV host, she was the first daughter of the U.S. as her father, former President George W. Bush, served his term. She recently joined the daytime show “Today,” marking one of her best achievements.
During her welcoming on-air, Hager’s husband, Henry, and her two daughters came to the set to surprise their family matriarch with roses. The host was overwhelmed and emotional as she jokingly said, “I’m a wreck.”
Kotb shared that Hager was a “perfect fit” in the show and described her as one of the most “real” people there is. The colleagues formed a relationship beyond work and even shared their kids’ clothes.
