Kimora Lee Simmons' daughter, Aoki, celebrated her 17 birthday in style before jetting off to Harvard.

It's not every day you turn 17 right before going off to college, so Aoki Lee Simmons decided to make the most out of it.

The birthday girl showed the world that she was having the best time of her life with her Instagram updates.

Before her big day, Aoki made the transition from girl to woman and had her brows shaped by Los Angeles eyebrow master, Giselle Soto, according to BET.

She took to Instagram to show off her new look and urged her followers not to be mad if she took a hundred selfies!

On the D-day, Aoki shared a photo of herself in a shimmery gold gown posing in front of a fountain.

In another post, she shared clips of her blowing out the candles on her cake and living it up in the club.

The Harvard student captioned the post:

"17! Thank you to everyone who made yesterday so special. (Anyone who remembers those OG dancing queen clips is a real one)"

Her post garnered over 20,000 likes and several well-wishes from fans and colleagues.

Renowned model Winnie Harlow sent her wishes to Aoki, writing:

"Happy birthday boo."

To which Aoki replied:

"Aw thank you gorgeous."

It seemed like just yesterday when the news of Aoki's acceptance into the prestigious university made headlines.

What even rocked our boats the more was that she was just 16 when she gained admission.

Kimora's daughter shared the big news on Instagram and was filmed reading the offer letter on her laptop.

Her acceptance gained more prominence in light of the recent college admissions scandal that has plagued many Hollywood stars.

On August 21, Aoki finally moved out of home and packed up to move into her dormitory room in Havard, as reported by BCK.

The newly-turned17-year-old shared a photo of herself in a Havard sweatshirt while sitting on her luggage. She simply captioned the post "Movin out" alongside an airplane emoji!

Aoki is indeed a phenomenal young woman, and the sky is just the starting point for her!
