During a recent car trip, McGraw and his daughter with singer Faith Hill, Gracie, jammed to the song, “What Kind of Fool,” a hit number by Barbra Streisand and Barry Gibb.

Gracie led the vocals and McGraw added harmonics to present a soothing rendition of the 1981 classic.

BORN TO SING?

McGraw seemed to be proud of his daughter’s vocal skills, which was apparent from the caption to his Instagram post.

Gracie’s mom, Hill, was one of the first people to comment on the beautiful video that captures the soulful duet.

An iconic country singer herself, Hill wrote in the comment section, “My loves,” and added, “[Barbra Streisand] would be proud.”

A NEW BEGINNING

Meanwhile, McGraw’s post about his trip with Gracie came only a week after she announced on her Instagram page that she was leaving Nashville for Los Angeles.

“Tomorrow I start my journey to the big LA baby!” she wrote on her social media while also admitting that Nashville “never really felt like home” to her.

In her post, Gracie also expressed her love and gratitude for her friends and family, whom she was leaving behind.

“Other than [the] family, to me, my friends are my home. I couldn’t have asked for better people in my life and I can’t believe how lucky I’ve been to be able to love the people I love, and man do I love my people!”

This is not the first time that McGraw has declared his admiration for his eldest daughter. A few months ago as well, he dedicated an emotional Facebook post to Gracie on the occasion of her 22nd birthday.
