Daniela Ruah Closely Resembles Her Mother in Recent Instagram Post

Actress Daniela Ruah and her otologist mother share a striking resemblance and fans can not stop pointing it out. It seems good looks are genetic in the Ruah family.

The Portuguese-American actress, Daniela Ruah is best known for her role on "NCIS: LA." She plays Special Agent Kensi Blye.

However, she is making headlines for a different reason recently. One of her Instagram posts has caught the attention of fans everywhere.

The star took to Instagram to wish her mother Happy Birthday. She posted a picture of the two of them smiling happily at the camera.

Fans were blown away by how closely the mother-daughter duo resembled each other. From their brilliant pearly white smiles to their dark locks and face shape, the pair look nearly identical.

Ruah herself acknowledged and poked fun at their similar looks in her caption. In her message to her mother she wrote:

"Happy Birthday to this ray of light and my younger sister! Love you, mom!"

Fans agreed with her completely and many pointed out that they could be sisters. Many also wished her mom a Happy Birthday.

The stunning picture garnered over forty-five thousand likes and multiple comments agreeing or echoing each other. It's not the first time fans have been given a glimpse of her mother. In 2012, her mother joined her on an episode of NCIS.

“Acting with your mom? It’s not something you get to do very often,” Daniela Ruah said at the time.
