Posing on Instagram like the goddess she is, Fantasia leaned against a railing in a peach floor-length bodycon dress. The outfit, which stuck to her curves perfectly, is a piece by Victor Glemaud, per BET.

Not only did Fantasia show off cleavage and several tattoos with her gown, but she also displayed layers of necklaces by Laruicci and CZ By Kenneth Jay Lane. A pixie cut and flawless makeup completed the singer’s ensemble.

FANTASIA'S FITNESS JOURNEY

Rachel Roff, owner of the medspa whose weight loss program Fantasia adopted, told PEOPLE at the time:

“Fantasia’s program [involved adhering to] a 1,200 to 1,400 calorie a day diet [that included eating] lots of protein and low carbs, drinking only water, and also eating every two to three hours to keep her metabolism boosted.”

“Fantasia is a fitness junkie,” Roff added. “She loves hot yoga, and has a trainer that she works out with on a regular basis that incorporates cardio and strength training.”

After shedding 50 lbs. back in 2013, Fantasia confessed to ESSENCE that an unhealthy family pattern fueled her fitness commitment.

CHANGING THE NARRATIVE

“A lot of my cousins who are my age or are in their 30’s are on high blood pressure pills, and it’s like, ‘c’mon, you’re too young for that,’” she recalled, adding:

“I wanted to be the person in my family to stand up and say, okay we have to eat better and workout. I want to be around for a long time. I can’t travel like I do and not be healthy. You know how I move on stage. At any minute I could just pass out and that’s not good.”

Years later and a look at Fantasia’s Instagram page reveals she’s still a fitness enthusiast. What’s more, she knows how to slay her hard-earned curves in remarkable outfits.

In June, Fantasia packed a double punch with her appearance at the BET Awards. The Grammy winner first stunned in a white mini dress and Louboutin heels before holding audiences spellbound while performing her new single “Enough” in an all-black ensemble.
