'Terminator: Dark Fate' Star Linda Hamilton Reveals She Has 'Been Celibate for at Least 15 Years'

Actress Linda Hamilton reveals she's been celibate "for at least 15 years," and that doesn't bother her at all.

Now that she's about to star in another "Terminator" movie alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton has been granting a lot more interviews than she normally does.

The 62-year-old opened up about her hiatus from acting, and what led her to accept the role of Sarah Connor in the next "Terminator" movie, "Terminator: Dark Fate."

On Being Celibate

Hamilton, who divorced her "Terminator" director James Cameron in 1999, never remarried. This is why she's chosen to remain celibate for at least 15 years, and it doesn't matter to her.

“I’ve been celibate for at least 15 years. One loses track, because it just doesn’t matter — or at least it doesn’t matter to me. I have a very romantic relationship with my world every day and the people who are in it,” she opens up.

Living Single and Alone

Living in a New Orleans townhouse with her two dogs, Turk and Noodle, Hamilton says she's lived a quiet life since retiring from being an actress. Her last notable role was on the TV series "Chuck" in 2012.

“I woke up one day and I was like, ‘Well, here I am in my beautiful mansion and my kids aren’t here, my agents aren’t calling, and this is not real.’”

To her, it was not a problem that she was alone, because she's a person who enjoys it quite a lot.

“I love my alone time like no one you’ve ever met."

Now, she's leaving her quiet life to star in yet another "Terminator" movie with Schwarzenegger, and the two veterans are hard at work trying to promote their latest project together.

The duo appeared at the Comic-Con in San Diego, California, to promote the sequel to their film and share insights with their excited fans.

“I think that you will all be surprised with this movie because it has come out unbelievable. I was blown away by it when I first saw it,” Scharzenegger teased.
