Christina Anstead joined a host of other mothers to eat her placenta, and she gushed about her experience on social media.
New mother Christina Anstead is enjoying her post-pregnancy life as it comes!
The “Flip or Flop” host revealed on her Instagram story on Friday that she gave eating her placenta a try.
As reported by PEOPLE, the mother-of-three shared a photo of her placenta in grey pill forms, enclosed in a cute pink container, and wrote:
“First time I’ve tried it — and I think these placenta encapsulation [pills] are working.”
While the pills were the focus of the photo, we couldn’t help but notice Christina and Ant’s little man sleeping peacefully in his bassinet, in the background of the shot.
Christina has joined a host of other celebrity mums like Chrissy Teigen, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Kardashian, Hilary Duff and many more who have openly spoken about consuming their placenta.

This comes more than a week after Anstead welcomed her third child with husband Ant. The happy mom shared the big news with a series of sweet pictures on Instagram.
The first post was an image of Christina and Ant bonding as they soaked in the beauty of their new child.
In the caption that accompanied the heartwarming image, the new mom wrote:
“Ant and I are so excited to welcome Hudson London Anstead into the world. Our hearts are SO full of love and joy! Our healthy baby boy was born this morning- 9/6/19 - 7 lbs 7 oz 19.5 inches long.”
The following post was a candid moment of Hudson’s older siblings Tay and Bray, meeting him.
Ant was not left out of the outpouring of love for baby Hudson as he shared the same photo Christina shared earlier and called his son “perfect.”
Baby Hudson is no doubt the perfect addition to Christina and Ant’s life!
