Rapper Drake Pays Tribute to Dad on His Birthday with Touching Post
Drake is celebrating his father, Dennis Graham, who recently added a new year to his age. Taking to his Instagram, the "In My Feelings" star posted a couple of pictures of him and his old man with the caption:
"Happy Birthday to the real superstar of the family @therealdennisg show some love to the OG."
The first photo is a black-and-white candid that shows Drake and his father posing for the camera at what looks like an event. Dennis is rocking a suit and a bowtie while Drake maintains a casual look in a round neck shirt.

Drake and Dennis engulfed in a hug which only leaves the former's eyes focused on the camera. Fans were not only quick to like the heartwarming post, but they were also quick to recognize the resemblance the duo share.
While Dennis became a familiar name in the news when Drake's career blew up, he has managed to keep his private life away from the public.
However, WREG reveals that Dennis was born and raised in Memphis. During an interview with the news outlet, Dennis shed some light on his life and his family's move to Canada. Speaking on his son's name, Dennis said:
"I gave him the name Drake because Drake was my acting name when I was acting. And I told him when you get older: you're gonna use Drake instead of Aubrey."
Despite the move to Canada, Dennis made sure that he and Drake paid a visit to Memphis every summer. But the drive down to Whitehaven isn't the only experience that bonds the duo.
Like his son, Dennis is also a musician, and he released a single back in February per a Variety report. However, unlike his son who makes a living off of singing, Dennis calls his music career a "hobby."

There's even more of Dennis that media outlets like Heavy have come to know. In a report, the website claims that Dennis met Sandra "Sandi" Sher, who would later become his wife and Drake's mom at Club Bluenote in Toronto.
But their union didn't last long as they split when Drake was only five years old.

Soon after, Dennis left for Memphis, leaving Sandra to raise their son as a single mom.
The website adds that Dennis was in and out of his son's life "due to drug charges that lead to his incarceration."
Despite his inconsistency, Dennis and Drake have built a healthy
that has birthed a number of the "God's Plan" rapper projects.
