'Scorpion' Actress Katharine McPhee Says Husband David Posted Her Swimsuit Pic While Playing Games on Her Phone

Actress Katharine McPhee recently claimed that her husband, David Foster posted an adorable image of her on her Instagram page and it is obvious why.

About a day ago, the 35-year-old actress took to her Instagram page to reveal that 69-year-old Foster posted an image of her wearing a lovely flowery bikini.

"She didn't catch my eye on the first day because I was so busy trying to do my job"

The image which showed McPhee standing in front of the mirror in what seemed to be a bathroom was captioned,

"David posted this while playing games on my phone. Not sure why or how he chose it but I'm not complaining."

Fans of the actress had lovely things to say about the picture with one writing,

"No one is complaining."

And another sharing that,

"Absolutely fantastic."

MCPHEE ON BEING MARRIED TO FOSTER

McPhee and Foster who recently tied the knot on June 28 seems to be enjoying married life. In August, at the Vocal Star Seminar, the actress had so many lovely things to say about her husband and life as a newly wed.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, McPhee said about adjusting to her new "married" status,

"We've been away since we've been married, so not [yet], but I love it," "I just love the ring of it, so I'm enjoying it. I'm a romantic, I've always loved the idea of taking [his last name]."

Speaking about taking his name, she continued:

"It's sort of a traditional thing that still exists in our society, but some people don't take their spouse's last name anymore, so, I like the idea of it. I think it's romantic and it's a great last name."

HOW THEY MET AND WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE UNION

The couple met for the first time on season 5 of the music show "American Idol" in 2006. The two soon became friends after and Foster was a special guest at McPhee's wedding to Nick Cokas in 2008.

That marriage was called off in 2014 when the singer filed for divorce from her then husband. In 2017, rumors of McPhee and Foster being a couple flew around but they didn't confirm anything until May 2017 when they were spotted having dinner at Nobu in Malibu.

However, in September of that year, Foster's daughter Erin confirmed the rumor in an Instagram post where she called the American Idol star her step-mum.

As if that wasn't sweet enough, Erin told People in October 2017:

"She's amazing, I really like her. She's awesome. My dad is kind of a hopeless romantic, and Katharine's awesome. We really, really like her, and we've known her for a really long time. And if he's happy, we're happy."

In 2018, the couple debuted their relationship at the Met Gala and soon after, Foster posed the question with a lovely engagement ring. Foster once told people,

"She didn't catch my eye on the first day because I was so busy trying to do my job. But the reality is that in the last 12 years I've always had a connection with her."
