David Foster’s Young Fiancée Katharine-McPhee Goes Braless at the American Icon Awards
Katharine McPhee accompanied her older fiancé, David Foster to an award ceremony in Beverly Hills and her outfit left very little to the imagination.
Katharine McPhee, 35, went with David Foster, 69, to the American Icon Awards in Beverly Hills, and apart from the two appearing cozy as they posed for pictures, McPhee caught everyone's attention by going braless.
The actress-singer wore a shiny chocolate blouse with a calf-length skirt of the same color. The singer left the top unbuttoned, revealing that she was braless.
Despite the lack of the essential clothing part, McPhee stunned alongside her man who dressed in a two-piece suit and a white shirt. Foster took a cue from his ladylove; he left the buttons on the neck of his shirt opened.
The actress shared two photos of the outing on Instagram. One had her posing with her man, and in the other, she snapped with the musical legend, Quincy Jones. She captioned the pictures,
"Just some valley girl with two icons."
Days before the Los Angeles function, the "Waitress" star, and Foster — whom she's engaged to — were seen exiting a courthouse in Beverly Hills with what appeared to be marriage documents.
It sparked speculations that the two might have secretly gotten married, but according to "People," they were there to obtain their marriage license.
The news outlet also reported that despite getting the license early, the singers are not about to sign the marriage certificate anytime soon.
In an earlier interview with "People" at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation Hot Pink Party, McPhee said she and her mentor-turned-lover are in a great place in their relationship.
The "American Idol" alum noted that things were different now that they are intimate, but they are a team, and could not be happier.
She advised those searching for love not to force it, as it will happen when they least expect it, and it will be with either someone they've always known or the one they never acknowledged.
The "Scorpion" star met Foster for the first time in 2006 when he coached her during American Idols. She was 21 at the time, but they stayed friends through the years, and he even produced her first single.
Things progressed after her divorce from her ex-husband, Nick Cokas, and although she denied their relationship during an interview with "Health Magazine" in December 2017, they were later photographed kissing in Beverly Hills.
In July 2018, they got engaged while vacationing in Italy, and the actress wrote on Instagram that her greatest joy was the fact that her dad shared in the happiness she felt before he died.
No one knows when McPhee and Foster will tie the knot, but for now, they are celebrating life and not forgetting love.
