Donald Trump Jr., 48, and Bettina Anderson, 39, exchanged vows on a private island in the Bahamas on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in front of a guest list so small it could fit on a single dinner table. And only a few photos have been revealed so far.

A Wedding Kept Close

The couple kept the guest list to roughly 40 people, so this was basically a family reunion for one of America's most famous households.

All five of Don Jr.'s children attended the event, alongside his siblings Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany Trump, who brought their respective spouses. Bettina's family and friends also joined the celebration, including her mother, Palm Beach philanthropist Inger Anderson, and a tight-knit circle of close friends.

Eric shared his excitement about the occasion with Page Six, emphasizing just how special the day truly was. He mentioned that Don Jr. and Bettina make a fantastic couple and noted how proud he felt to have watched their relationship grow over the years.

"They truly light up around each other and it's been amazing watching their story unfold. Couldn't be happier for them on their special day."

A Love Story That Moved Fast

Bettina and Don Jr. began dating in December 2024, shortly after his years-long engagement to former Fox journalist Kimberly Guilfoyle, 55, came to an end.

The same day the split was reported, President Donald Trump named Guilfoyle as U.S. ambassador to Greece. Don Jr. told Page Six at the time that he and Kimberly had a "special bond" and would always wish the best for each other.

Less than a year later, Don Jr. completely moved on and popped the question. The same outlet reported that the couple became engaged at Camp David on December 13, 2025, which also happened to be Bettina's birthday. The President himself shared the happy news at the White House the very night it became public.

The bride's journey to her wedding featured a beautiful garden-themed bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago in April. Yaz Hernandez, Amy Phelan, and Audrey Gruss, who are also socialites, hosted the special celebration.

The high-profile guest list included Ivanka, Tiffany, Lara Trump, and Marla Maples, alongside Don Jr.'s 19-year-old daughter, Kai Trump. Several other prominent figures also attended the event, such as Daphne Oz, Dina Powell McCormick, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Andrea Wynn, and Amy Baier.

The Details Behind the Day

The wedding featured stunning decor tailored perfectly for its intimate scale. Lewis Miller Design, a floral firm famous for hosting a flower arranging workshop at Meghan Markle's baby shower and coordinating numerous events for Carolina Herrera, created the gorgeous floral arrangements.

Sweet Stacy's, an upscale Palm Beach bakery, provided the custom wedding cake, while stationer Bernard Maisner crafted the calligraphed menus. Although the couple initially thought about hosting the ceremony at the White House, they ultimately scaled back their plans due to the ongoing conflict in Iran.

Reports indicated they intended to throw a massive celebration for their wider circle of family and friends later in 2026, which might take place at the White House.

The President Who Wasn't There

Unfortunately, there was a notable absence. Just days before the wedding, on Thursday, May 21, President Trump was asked by a reporter whether he planned to attend. His response was characteristically candid:

"He'd like me to go. I'm going to try. [...] I said, this is not good timing for me. [...] Hopefully, they're gonna have a great marriage."

The next day, the president announced his decision on Truth Social. He explained that although he deeply wished to attend the ceremony, his official government duties and his dedication to the country prevented him from going.

"I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!"

The Photos That Did Make It Out

Given how tightly the couple controlled the day, what little visual evidence exists carries extra weight. Bettina shared a black-and-white photo on her Instagram Stories showing the two of them holding hands in bed with their wedding rings displayed prominently.

The caption on the image reads, "Forever yours. Forever mine," followed by a white heart emoji and a tag to Don Jr. It was intimate, but most importantly, it said everything without saying much at all.

Tiffany also added a few glimpses to her Instagram Stories. One clip captured the open ocean view from the Bahamian island. Another showed Tiffany herself seated in an outdoor armchair at night with palm trees in the background.

A third photo from earlier that same day, with Tiffany in the same outfit, placed her on a walkpath lined with trees and lush greenery. And if you're curious about her ensemble: she wore a Manuba Print Dress from PUCCI, priced at $1,685.

The silk crêpe de chine piece features a deep V-neckline, thin straps, and a side slit, all rendered in a nude-toned print the brand describes as having "a delicate and contemporary rhythm." It was a fitting choice for a tropical evening wedding.

But surprisingly, it looks like the event in the Bahamas was just the ceremony. According to a TMZ report, Don Jr. and Bettina completed legal marriage paperwork in Florida before heading to the island nation for their party.

The outlet also reported that the legal formalities were handled by Brad McPherson, a longtime real estate attorney who has worked closely with the Trump family for years. The filing supposedly served as a required step before the couple's ceremony outside the United States.

But the marriage certificate also appeared to reveal something else that immediately caught attention: Bettina does not appear to be legally taking the Trump surname.

Congratulations to the couple!
