Kim Kardashian is finally sharing pictures of the highly speculated baptism for her three eldest children, North, Saint and Chicago West, she writes:

"Thank you Armenia for such a memorable trip. So blessed to have been baptized along with my babies at Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Armenia's main cathedral which is sometimes referred to as the Vatican of the Armenian Apostolic Church. This church was built in 303 AD."

In photo taken by famed British photographer Jackie Nickerson. Kim and North pose side by side wearing long grey veils.

Some fans point out that the picture Kim shared of her posing with North bears a striking resemblance to the historical portrayal of the Virgin Mary posing with veil on her head and holding a baby Jesus.

Traditionally, veils are worn by women in church to cover their hair, as a sign of humility to prepare themselves to come before God.

During the tour of the church Kim and North were shown lighting prayer candles placed at the front of the Cathedral.

It is reported, the family were baptized at the Etchmiadzin Cathedral, in Vagharshapat. Kanye West didn't make the trip. But Kim and her family were accompanied by Kourtney, Mason, Reign and Penelope.

The Kardashian clan were mostly dressed in white and of white off white colors. It is custom in Orthodox Christian ceremonies for the people being baptized to wear white to symbolize purity.

During Kim's first trip to Armenia, in 2015, she travelled with her husband Kanye West and sister, Khloe Kardashian. It is reported, North was baptised for the first time at the Saint James Cathedral in Jerusalem's Old City. Sharing a picture of the baptism Kim explains:

"Baptizing North in Jerusalem in an Armenian church with our new baby in my belly was so special."

After Kim started posting the services on social media the event soon grew into a following that brings to together hundreds of people to Kanye West's Sunday Service.
