'Bernie Mac Show:' Bryana & Vanessa Are All Grown up Now & Shared Birthday Tributes to the Late Comedian
The show, “The Bernie Mac Show,” premiered on November 14, 2001, and for five years, viewers watched as Bernie and his wife Wanda raised his sister’s kids; Vanessa, Jordan, and Bryana.

There was nothing more hilarious than watching Bernie trying to be a parent, and threatening to discipline the children in hilarious ways.
The award-winning TV series ended in 2006, two years before Bernie died.

It's been eleven years, and two characters from the legendary TV show didn't forget to pay tribute to the deceased Bernie.
On Instagram, Davis uploaded a photo of her time while on set with Bernie. The emotional caption read:
"Happy birthday Bernie today we came together as a family to celebrate your birthday and honor you.No words to explain how grateful we are for picking us to be apart of your legacy and for that we’ll keep it alive, TOGETHER"
Although Camille wasn't on time with her wish, she also paid homage by writing:
"I’m a little late, but I couldn’t end this day without a nod to the Mac. Happy Birthday, Bernie."
Camille Winbush played Vanessa “Nessa” Thompkins, who was Bernie and Wanda’s elder niece, and the eldest of the three children, Celebuzz recalled.
Nessa was a typical teenager, forever being a menace in the household. There was also pressure on her to be responsible as the eldest.
She took care of her little brother and sister. With time, Nessa became a better person, and she finally got along with her uncle, Bernie.

While she was primarily Jordan and Vanessa’s half-sister, Bryana was also Bernie and Wanda’s youngest niece. Bryana is undeniably her uncle’s favorite, hence the nickname, “Baby Girl.”
She was the most adorable of all the children until she grew to be a spoilt brat and became repellent. Dee Dee Davis played the role of Baby Girl as long as the show lasted.

However, the "Baby Girl" we used to know has grown into a stunning woman and mother of one!
Currently, Davis is 22 years old and has a partner, Lee Jackson, with whom she shares a child, ILSM revealed. The couple shares a son, Logan Anthony Lee Jackson, who is three years old.
Despite how far both stars have come, it is amazing to see that they never forgot their roots.
It was a huge loss when the iconic actor/comedian died due to complications from pneumonia, as narrated by PEOPLE. He was only 50 years old. May his soul continually rest in peace.
