Fans of the hit competition series "Dancing With The Stars" are off to a bad start this week after their favorite show was pushed back because of "Monday Night Football."

The network made way for the New England Patriots and the New York Jets to battle it out on national television, and DWTS fans are not happy about it.

Although the airing was moved to MeTV Boston at the same scheduled time, fans of the show still expressed their anger on Twitter as they weren't aware of the switches. One comment read:

"I can't record or watch #DWTS because Monday night football is on channel 5 instead… I love the pats but dang! Be on a different channel!"

Another fan pointed out that dancing was a more "superior sport" compared to football as she expressed her sentiments on Twitter. Another tweet read:

"Annoyed at the fact I had to scroll down to CITYTV to watch #dwts at 8:00 instead of just watching it on ABC b/c of [expletive] football."

Despite the disappointment of some viewers, "Monday Night Football" was quite interesting this week as they debuted the new trailer for "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" during halftime.

On the other hand, DWTS is almost half-way through its 28th season, with only a few competitors left. The recent episode bid another contender goodbye.

After the judges' scores and the viewer votes were combined, the elimination night saw Sailor and Val meeting their fate after a close match with Ally and Sasha.

The week before had no elimination as everyone went home with a happy ending for the Disney themed dances, which included "The Lion King," "Aladdin," "Marry Poppins," and the like.

Dancers were able to pay tribute to members of their families with the different classic films incorporated in their performance.

Among the top performers of the night were Ally Brooke and his pro dance partner, Sasha Farber, Kel Mitchell and his pro dance partner Witney Carson, and James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater.

Prior to last week's no elimination, basketball pro Lamar Odom and his partner Peta Murgatroyd were eliminated from the season.
