Micah Stampley, Gospel Singer & Songwriter, Mourns Death of Daughter Who Passed Away at Age 15

With a "heavy heart," award-winning gospel singer, Micah Stampley, has announced the untimely demise of his young daughter. She was 15 years old.

On Tuesday, October 22, Micah Stampley's spokesperson, David Brand, shared an official statement as regards the tragic news on Facebook.

The heartfelt post is a screenshot of the official press release as well as a caption that stated the crucial details contained in the letter. It reads:

"It is with a heavy heart that the Stampley family would like to announce the passing of their 15-year-old daughter, Mary Stampley. Please keep their family in your prayers and respect their privacy as they deal with this traumatic event."

The statement also explains that further inquiries can be forwarded to Stampley's publicist, David Robinson, at The David Brand.

In mourning, Stampley's fans took to the comments section to share messages of comfort for the family and also outline wishes that Mary's young soul find peace.

One such fan, @Josiah Langat wrote:

"May the God of all comfort remember you and your family in this grieving moment. May He also grant you strength at this very low moment of your life."

Another fan, @Gloria J Calahan-Woods commented:

There is only very little information known about Mary but according to WBS2, Mary Stampley died on Tuesday after suffering a seizure.

She was the only daughter, but just one out of the five children born to Stampley and his wife of over two decades, Heidi. The couple has always taken pride in parenting their brood, which makes Mary's sudden demise a heartbreaking one.

About fatherhood, Stampley once said:

"I enjoy being a father, and I embrace all the challenges that come with it."

It can only be hoped that Stampley and his family find the strength to come to terms with Mary's demise. May her soul rest in peace.
