Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Val Chmerkovskiy's Exit from DWTS Came as a Shock to His Wife Jenna Johnson
"Dancing With The Stars" professional dancer, Jenna Johnson, expressed her surprise over the elimination of her husband, Val Chmerkovskiy.
On the night that Chmerkovskiy and Johnson received their highest ever score, the pair found themselves in the bottom two. Following this, the duo also got eliminated from the show.
Fans were disappointed with the sudden exit of the pair and Chmerkovskiy's wife, Johnson, was quick to open up about the elimination with her column in People.

Johnson stated in her column that Chmerkovskiy and Brinkley-Cook did not deserve to be eliminated.
"I was [so] heartbroken to see Val and Sailor in the bottom two this week. And then to see them go was even harder. I don’t think that they deserved to go whatsoever."
STILL RECOVERING FROM THE SHOCK
Johnson, who is also a contestant on the show with her partner Karamo Brown, opined that very few people were anticipating the exit of Chmerkovskiy and Brinkley-Cook.
She called their departure a "truly shocking" incident. However, she did admit that such surprises are common during this stage of the competition.
The professional dancer also brought everyone's attention to the fact that just how easy it is to assume that one is safe because they have been getting high scores.
However, the format of the show is such that anything is possible and it is hard to predict things for anyone.
Johnson also wrote that she always saw Chmerkovskiy and Brinkley-Cook in the finals before admitting that she may have been biased toward her husband.
BEST PARTNER EVER?
She was also full of praise for Brinkley-Cook, whom she considered to be one of the best partners her husband has had.
"My husband would come home just raving about her every night, and what a sweetheart she is, how her heart and soul would go into every single rehearsal, every single piece."
The 25-year-old dancer also called herself the "fan of their great partnership" and added that this was "one of the happiest" she has seen Chmerkovskiy during a season.
Johnson also reminded the fans that it is crucial to vote for their favorite contestants or else they may have to see them go through an elimination.
THE SHOW MUST GO ON
Chmerkovskiy and Brinkley-Cook's impressive run on the "Dancing With The Stars" ended in the sixth week of the competition.
The pair earned one of the highest scores of 27 right before landing in the bottom two alongside contestants Ally Brooke and her partner, Sasha Farber.
Previously, Johnson also found herself in the bottom two of the competition. She later wrote in her column that she was expecting to win back the validation of the judges.
Meanwhile, Johnson is not the only one disappointed with the pair's exit. Previously, several fans also took to social media to express their anger over the elimination.
