Kim Kardashian of KUWTK Admits Daughter North's Fascination with Skincare after Kanye West Banned Makeup

Kim Kardashian West's daughter North West may be more of a mini-me than she expected. Like the businesswoman, North loves makeup and skincare, too.

Kardashian West, 39, revealed that her daughter North has found a loophole in dad's Kanye West's ban from makeup. In an interview with Allure, the reality star let us in on her kid's newfound beauty interest.

After talking about her own recent practice of going to Ulta where the interviewers regularly patrons, Kardashian confessed to having an abundance of basic makeup and wipes.

It's enough for herself and daughter North, who Kardashian West recently confessed is a makeup lover at just six years old. The news did not go down well with the baby girl's father, rapper Kanye West.

The parenting squabble may have flared up when North showed up at West's "Saturday Night Live" performance wearing orange eyeliner to match her dress.

Earlier this month, Kardashian West opened up about North's interest in makeup. At the same time, she revealed that her daughter was getting "blocked heavily" by her dad.

She added: "It's a big discussion, a big fight in the household right now but it is what's best." The couple has apparently agreed that North will stay away from makeup until she reaches her teens.

North's makeup obsession is not odd. Many little girls are captivated by their moms' colorful face enhancements. In fact, North has already moved on to copying something else her mom does.

Kardashian West told Allure that the young girl is now into skincare. The most fun part — face masks. When you think of how kids stare at their moms — or anyone in masks — it's really no surprise.

She explained:

"I’ll get her sheet masks, and if she’s having a sleepover, I’ll do a mask with the girls. They think it’s so funny for some reason. I don’t know why. They just think they’re so fascinating."

The KKW Beauty owner is a fascination for many, so why shouldn't she be her daughter's idol. We're sure that North's face is flawless as is, though.

If she gets blocked from that too, she can always fall back on her love of hair — there's just no end to beauty is there? Kardashian West told Refinery 29, that her daughter is "still into hair" just this week.

She said North is "very particular" about her hairstyle, specifying exactly what she wants before heading off to school. If mom doesn't get it right, she has to start all over for the tot. Talk about a little boss.
