Melania Trump Is Chic in Black Coat Dress with Gold Buttons and Leather Gloves on Veterans Day
First Lady, Melania Trump looks chic in an all-black ensemble, as she accompanies President Donald Trump to the wreathing ceremony at the Veterans Day Parade.
In honor of current and former members of the military, Melania Trump joined President Donald Trump for the Veterans Day Parade, in New York.
"We remember & honor our men & women in uniform who defend our freedoms & protect our Nation. God Bless our Veterans! #veteransday2019," the First Lady tweets.
Sitting behind a glass bulletproof screen, Melania could be seen wearing an all-black ensemble. She was styled in a knee length black coat, with large buttons.
The coat was military inspired, with a large collar and square pockets on the front. The detailed gold buttons ran across the front of her coat and along its sleeves.
Today, we come together as one Nation to salute the Veterans of the United States Armed Forces – the greatest warriors ever to walk on the face of the Earth. Our Veterans risked everything for us. Now, it is our duty to serve and protect THEM every day of our lives! pic.twitter.com/vC3UGvWF9S— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 11, 2019
She accessorized her look with a pair of square sunglasses, and black leather gloves. Going for her go to heal, she wore a pair of black BB Pump heels, with the retail price starting at $625 at Nordstrom.
"Every season I explore and aim to achieve the perfect shape and cut for my court shoe. I first designed the 'BB,'" designer Manolo Blahnik says about his shoe.
For the Veteran's Day parade Melania opted for a black 4-inch heels. Revealing the inspiration behind the shoe, Blahnik says the design was inspired by a French Actress and sex symbol, he explains:
"[BB], which is named after Brigitte Bardot, one of my greatest inspirations, in 2008 and it became a classic. It's a good shoe for every occasion."
Adding a bit of color to her look, she kept her make-up simple with a smokey eye and bright pink lip. Despite having a million-dollar jewellery collection she was seen sitting on stage without any jewellery.
As she braves the cold weather, black seems to be her go to look. On Saturday when she accompanied President Trump to watch the Alabama-LSU game in Alabama, Melania wore another statement black coat.
Sitting to the thick coat trend, she also wore a navy blue coat by Stella McCartney to greet the home team after their first-ever World Series championship.
In honor of the team's colors, Melania's coat had red and white accents against the coats blue color.
