Mendeecees from 'Love and Hip Hop' Poses with His Friends in Jail in Photos Ahead of Release

Mendeecees Harris is getting released from prison soon, and he decided to share some pictures of him with the "good guys" from jail ahead of his release.

Despite being in jail, "Love & Hip Hop" star Mendeecees has always had access to his phone. In fact, he's been actively posting on Instagram whenever he can. Now, he shares some pictures with his friends from prison to remember them when he's released.

Mendeecees Harris is expected to ring in the new year with his family as his release from jail was pushed forward to December 2019.

Taking Some Prison Memories

Now, his latest update includes a picture of him with some of his friends from jail, whom he claims are the "good guys." This new life update shows that the reality TV star has gained some extra pounds of muscle in preparation for his release slated next month.

In the captions of his photos, Mendeecees shared that he just had to take a picture with his "guys" before he left them, confirming his nearby release firsthand.

Using His Time Wisely

Throughout his stay in prison, Mendeecees used his time wisely. He allegedly completed a substance abuse prevention program, took classes on how to be a responsible parent from prison, money management, health and nutrition, and public speaking.

Now that these pictures were posted on his Instagram account, it seems the men he was with are some of those who kept him afloat and on the right path while in prison, considering that they're the "good guys."

Ringing In The New Year as a Family

Mendeecees Harris is expected to ring in the new year with his family as his release from jail was pushed forward to December 2019. Originally, his release was slated for November 2020.

Harris has been carrying out an eight-year sentence after pleading guilty to drug trafficking back in 2015. After being sentenced to prison, he turned himself in.

Mendeecees' Early Release Date

Thanks to his good demeanor, though, his prison sentence may be slashed in half and he's expected to be released within the month or no later than December 15.

His early release date came as a surprise to many, even his wife, as previous reports stated that he wouldn't be released until next year.

After his release, Mendeecees is set to re-join "Love & Hip Hop" with the rest of the crew as previously confirmed by his wife.
