Texas Bride Sierra Mcginty-Rush Uses Bouquet Toss to Help Brother Propose to His Girlfriend in Viral Video

Sierra Mc-Ginty-Rush knew there was no better place for her younger brother to propose to his girlfriend than at her wedding so she encouraged the idea.

“He means everything to me. I guess it’s good that the world sees how much I love my little brother.”

HOW IT HAPPENED

On November 2, as her family and friends gathered to celebrate her union to Tracey Rush, little did they know that they were in for another celebration.

The proposal was carefully planned to take place during the bouquet toss. Instead of the traditional toss, Sierra walked to her brother, Solomon McGinty’s girlfriend, and handed her the bouquet.

At that moment, Solomon stepped in from behind with two of his girlfriend’s best friends and proposed.

Solomon said he thought his girlfriend, Baylee was going to faint when she was surprised by his proposal.

WHY SIERRA INSISTED TO HAVE THE PROPOSAL AT HER WEDDING

“I was trying not to cry,” McGinty told Good Morning America. “ I mean, that’s my baby brother.”

Solomon recalled hesitating when his sister first broached the idea of proposing at her wedding. He didn’t want to steal the thunder from her.

But Sierra insisted because she wanted to witness the proposal herself.

“He means everything to me. I guess it’s good that the world sees how much I love my little brother,” she said.

In her Facebook post featuring the proposal, Sierra proudly shared,

"Doing it at MY reception that MY coins paid for was MY idea. If you know me and my brothers relationship then you would understand why I was more excited then they were! I was nervous and trying not to cry. Lol. Sharing Saturday with him just gave us more memories,."

AN EPIC PROPOSAL

Solomon said he thought his girlfriend, Baylee was going to faint when she was surprised by his proposal.

“(Baylee) had no idea … She was like ‘no way’ and then I showed her the ring,” he recounted.

But more than Baylee’s shock, it was the response to the video of their proposal that astounded Solomon. In just a day from its release online, it gained thousands of views. It has since reached more than 4 million views. Find out why in the clip below.
