2019 has a new king, and it is none other than the phenomenal John Legend!
Yesterday, the singer was crowned the Sexiest Man Alive in 2019 by PEOPLE Magazine.
After becoming one of the only 15 celebrities ever to achieve an EGOT status, as noted by PEOPLE, Legend is yet again making history as Idris Elba's usurper.
"I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it's a lot of pressure."

Despite his fear, Legend seems to be handling the title well as seen in his photos on the cover of the magazine.
As revealed by Just Jared, the crown was officially handed over to Legend during the latest airing of "The Voice."
The torch was passed on by fellow coach Blake Shelton, who was the Sexiest Man Alive in 2017.
As expected, Chrissy had something to say about her husband bagging the title as she took to Twitter to share the news.
By 1:19 am, Chrissy
:
"I have big news, and it's killing me. I can't say it, and it's not a baby."
In a follow-up tweet an hour later, Teigen expressed her joy,
:
"My secret is out. I have fulfilled my dream of having boned @people's sexiest man alive!! An honor."
She followed it with a tweet of all of John's title #EGOTPSMA and then
to let the fans know that the kids didn't care about their dad's achievement ith a clip of Luna looking disinterested.
She crowned it all with a tweet that
:
"I cannot WAIT for people to get mad about John being the sexiest man alive. It's my new Starbucks holiday cup."
Legend's new title comes after he faced the heat for teaming up with Kelly Clarkson to record an updated version of Frank Loesser's "Baby It's Cold Outside."
According to USA Today, "The Voice" judges said they would update the lyrics of the song to remove lines that have not aged well in the aftermath of #MeToo.
Unfortunately, while that might seem like a commendable act, PopCulture reports that "The Talk" host Sharon Osbourne isn't buying into it as she describes the remake as "ridiculous."
