While one person, giving a little narrative, wrote,
"I remember waiting at my TV (im)patiently for @reba to come and sing 'Fancy' when I was 10-year-old. Now I'm 39 and just as excited. If it does not prove that she's the queen, then I don't know what does."
I remember staring at my TV waiting (im)patiently for @Reba to come on to sing Fancy when I was 10yrs old. Now I’m 39 and just as damn excited. If doesn’t prove she’s the Queen, then I don’t know what does. #CMAawards— Dani Nicole (@reebsfan) November 14, 2019
McEntire also cemented her icon status by changing her outfit three times during her performance, and her host duties, together with Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton, went flawlessly.
The singer, who has been singing since her childhood, attended the award solo, and she walked the red carpet in a stunning shimmering black outfit.
The singer's love for music started from singing in the church choir while growing up in Oklahoma, and interestingly, she is not the only singer in the family. All her siblings boast of musical talents, and she recorded the song, "Sky Full of Angels" with her younger sister, Susie.
McEntire has been recognized for her talent over the years with several country music awards, and three Grammy wins to her credit.
Aside from music, the icon shares a close relationship with her family, and she dotes on her son, Shelby Blackstock, from her 26-year marriage to Narvel Blackstock.
Up until May 2019, the mom-of-one was dating Anthony Lasuzzo. Since the relationship ended, she is living the single life and spending time with her family.
