Reba McEntire Fans Show Their Support Following Breakup with Skeeter Lasuzzo after 2 Years of Dating

Reba McEntire has a soft cushion to fall back on thanks to supportive fans who reacted to her recent breakup.

Country superstar Reba McEntire is months past her breakup from Anthony "Skeeter" Lasuzzo. She recently told Us Weekly that they decided to call things off since in May.

Reba only just announced her months-long breakup

The "Fancy" singer was responding to a question about sharing the holidays with the retired oil geologist this year. Her words and fans' responses are found below.

She told the outlet:

"Skeeter and I broke up in May, so, unfortunately, we will not be spending that time together. We still talk and we’re friends, but just decided to go our separate ways."

The relationship followed McEntire's 2015 divorce from Narvel Blackstock, who she was married to for 26 years. Now that she's ended another relationship, her fans are reacting.

How the pair met two years ago

McEntire and her former beau began dating back in 2017. In April of this year, the singer told People that before they met, she "was not looking. Not even interested."

She described how she met Lasuzzo in Jackson Hole while on an outing with friends. He was slated to drive her around thanks to his wildlife photography experience and familiarity with the area.

They dated and traveled the world together

The pair began dating about a couple of months after that, with phone calls being their main means of communication. They made their first red carpet appearance together at the 2018 Grammys.

They went on to travel the world together, reaching as far as Iceland, Italy, and South Africa. They even shared March as their birthday month so they had double the fun with celebrations.
