Jay-Z's involvement in "The Harder They Fall" was actually announced back in July. However, fans will be happy to learn that a former People's Sexiest Man Alive has landed a role in the upcoming film.

Elba congratulated Legend on his new title

Of course, Elba's title was snagged from him last week when People announced that "The Voice" judge John Legend is this year's Sexiest Man Alive.

Elba responded to the news by praising Legend while poking fun at his title predecessor, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in a repost of Legend's tweet.

He wrote:

"My G Congratulations brother !!! You deserve it. DO NOT TELL @TheRock He still thinks he’s got the title, I didn’t have the heart to tell him when I took it."

In turn, Johnson responded to him and also congratulated Legend, saying he earned it. All three men were definitely good choices for the title but we can't way to see Elba do his thing in his upcoming films.
