David and Iman introduced their daughter to the world via a photoshoot for Hello! Magazine.

In honor of her daughter's 17th birthday in August 2017, Iman posted a photo of Lexi on Instagram, showing how grown up she was.

The photo also revealed her to have the eyes strikingly similar to that of her famous father.

In the image, Lexi is seen wearing a white top with a septum piercing. She let her dark-red curls hang loose.

Iman, who is also noted for her philanthropic work, captioned the post:

"The Queen of my heart Lexi Jones at 17 years old!"

As reported by Nicki Swift, Lexi is the only child from David and Iman's marriage, although they each have a child with their respective former partners.

The legendary musician was first married to Angie Bowie on March 19, 1970. The former couple had one son, Duncan Jones, who was born in May 1971.

Meanwhile, Lexi is Iman's second child, following Zulekha Haywood, who was born in 1978. The model was previously married to basketball player Spencer Haywood.

David started becoming more private when Lexi was born. The legendary musician scaled back on major movie roles to focus on being a family man, as reported by Mirror.

When David passed away on January 10, 2016, Lexi, like her mother, also shared some heartbreaking tributes to the iconic singer.

Lexi shared a couple of throwback pictures with him from when she was a child. She wrote how much she misses him "every second of every day."

David, who was a leading figure in popular music for over five decades, died from liver cancer in his New York City apartment.

He was 69 years old. According to his death certificate, he was cremated in New Jersey.

According to Elle, Lexi and her mom Iman both got tattoos dedicated to her father, David, to commemorate the second anniversary of the legendary singer's death.
