Tom Hanks nearly moved to tears while reading through a couple of tweets that people had shared about good moments and kindness.

The "Forrest Gump" star, 63, sat down with "Twitter Movies" on Wednesday in order to read through tweets to remind everyone of good things in the world. He was very moved by the third tweet he read and said:

"I’m gonna start crying again because that’s absolutely beautiful. By the way, whoever broke up with you is a dope.”

The user had shared a photo of a heart-shaped cake she had received from her father after a relationship break-up. He also read a tweet about Bear, a koala detection dog and said:

“This is a Disney movie, that must be made. The story of Bear: the koala detection dog. That’s adorable. I like Bear.”

Hanks continued with reading some other tweets and fans have liked the video. It has got over 8M views thus far.

The Oscar-winning actor recently appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and reacted hilariously when he saw a video of "Jeopardy" contestants.

It seems that "Mister Rogers" has been a touching role for the two-time Academy Award winner.

In the video, the woman couldn't recognize Hanks during a category question in which a scene from his latest film "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" was played.

In his latest movie, Hanks appears as "Mister Rogers," one of the most adorable figures in the history of American pop culture, and a role he admitted being "terrifying" to play. He said:

“There’s no such thing as an easy role to do. The moment I said ‘yes,’ I began to have the night sweats.”

Rogers was famous for his charm and ability to connect with people with all backgrounds, and his show "Mister Roger’s Neighborhood" aired for 33 years.

It seems that "Mister Rogers" has been a touching role for the two-time Academy Award winner as he talks about it in different programs.

He opened up about playing the main role in this movie on the "Ellen Show" and talked about the biggest lesson he has learned from it.
