Tia and Tamera Mowry from 'Sister, Sister' Are Now Mothers - Meet Their Families

Get to know the families of Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley who rose to popularity starring in the hit sitcom "Sister, Sister."

Both Tia and Tamera, who haven't always gotten along, according to O The Oprah Magazine, began contending in talent shows from a young age.

And they have come a long way since they starred in "Sister, Sister," which narrated the story of twin sisters who were separated at birth and reunited in their teen years. After enjoying a booming TV career, Tia and Tamera moved on to marriage and motherhood.

TIA'S FAMILY

Tia met actor Cory Hardrict on the set of their movie, "Hollywood Horror." The pair dated for a long time and became engaged in December 2006.

The actress told People at the time:

"He surprised me in front of my entire family. I knew something was up because he came over to my parents' house and he was acting strange."

Tia continued that Cory got down on one knee and gave her a diamond ring he'd designed himself. After two years, they got married at the Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore Santa Barbara.

As reported by People in January 2011, Tia and Cory were expecting their first child. The show "Tia & Tamera" documented her pregnancy.

"If I'm working a lot and Cory's home, he will put Cree to bed, and if dishes need to be washed, he will wash them."

That June, Tia and her husband welcomed their son, Cree Taylor, and in May 2018, their family added another member, this time a girl named Cairo Tiahna.

In a 2015 interview with HuffPost Live, Tia said:

"We don't put gender roles on our marriage and our relationship. If I'm working a lot and Cory's home, he will put Cree to bed, and if dishes need to be washed, he will wash them."

TAMERA'S FAMILY

Tamera uncovered in 2013 that she didn't lose her virginity until she was 29 because of her being a devout Christian.

The actress explained that she felt remorseful after she had intercourse, and a short time later committed to staying celibate until marriage.

In May 2011, Tamera married Fox News correspondent Adam Housley after dating for nearly six years in California's Napa Valley, as reported by HuffPost.

In November 2012, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Aden Tanner Housley.

Tamera said at the time that she and her husband feel so blessed to finally be holding Aden and that he is a beautiful miracle.

In July 2015, their second child, daughter Ariah Talea Housley, was born. Adam immediately took to Twitter to announced the wonderful news.

The proud father tweeted that he and Tamera are very blessed and that they are excited.
