Dwayne Johnson Reveals He's Happy for 'Jumanji' Co-Star Kevin Hart's Upcoming Hand & Footprint Ceremony
Actor Kevin Hart is set to have his hands and feet immortalized in cement as part of the well-known hand and footprint ceremony held at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Fellow actor and friend, Dwayne Johnson, recently revealed that he’s “happy” for him.
On Monday night, December 9, 2019, Johnson and Hart were on hand on the blue carpet outside the Hollywood theater. The stars were there for the premiere of their new film, “Jumanji: The Next Level.”
The two actors had a moment where they got to speak to “Entertainment Tonight (ET)” about Hart’s upcoming big honor. Speaking about the tribute, Hart said: "I'm very excited man! It's a big deal.”

“HE ALREADY” REMINDED ME
Johnson was lucky enough to go through the ceremony in 2015. Hart joked to “ET” that his co-star had already reminded him that he already went through the ceremony.
The “Night School” actor stated:
"He already did remind me. I called him, 'Hey man, it's happening! It's happening DJ! Hand and foot print ceremony,' [he goes], 'Yeah, I did it.'''
JOHNSON IS “PROUD” OF HART
Johnson added:
"I'm so happy and so proud of him. I have the privilege of speaking on his behalf tomorrow and I can't wait."
The action star also explained how he was genuinely pleased for Hart because he personally knew what the ceremony was like and how much it would mean for his co-star. Johnson described the immortalization as being “cool.”
“SO HAPPY TO CELEBRATE MY GUY”
Showing how much he supported Hart, the actor gushed over having “a great Christmas” because of the upcoming event. He also revealed that he was “so happy to celebrate my guy."
“Jumanji: The Next Level” will feature the two actors, Awkwafina, Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, Jack Black, and many more. The premise of the sequel sees the group making an attempt to rescue one of their own.
A SNEAK PEEK INTO THE FILM
Yet again, the stars will have to brave unknown territory which will include arid deserts and snowy mountains. The aim of the game will be to escape the world's most dangerous game.
Johnson revealed some unknown details about the film sharing how DeVito would be the one turning into him. Glover will turn into Hart and Awkwafina will be playing a completely new and “awesome” character.
“Jumanji: The Next Level” will arrive in theaters on December 13, 2019.
