Liam Neeson's and Pamela Anderson's Sons Seem to Bond on the Red Carpet Amid Rumors Their Parents Are Dating

As rumors swirl about a possible romance between the Hollywood stars, it was their sons who stole the spotlight during a recent red carpet appearance.

Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson's outing with their sons drew attention online about a growing bond between the families. At the premiere of "The Naked Gun," fans focused on the boys, from their uncanny resemblance to one another to the not-so-subtle expressions caught on camera.

On Monday night, July 28, the costars stepped out with their children for the New York City premiere of their upcoming film. Anderson was accompanied by her sons, Dylan Jagger Lee and Brandon Thomas Lee, while Neeson attended with his sons, Micheál Richardson and Daniel Neeson.

Anderson embraced classic glamour in a navy satin gown, featuring a high neckline, open V-back, and a ribbon-tied empire waist. She completed the look with sheer gloves and a diamond brooch on her shoulder. Neeson kept it simple in a gray suit and white shirt, opting to go without a tie.

After posing together on the carpet, the costars were joined by their children for a group photo. Anderson's sons stood beside her in sharp suits, while Neeson's sons kept it casual in T-shirts and polos paired with slacks.

The red carpet chemistry between the pair was clear, but it was their sons who drew the most attention online. "The Naked Gun" is set to hit theaters on August 1, and it was during filming that Anderson and Neeson reportedly began dating. A source shared, "It's a budding romance in the early stages. It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other." The source added that the two are currently "enjoying each other's company."

Following their red carpet chemistry at the New York premiere, Anderson and Neeson shared another playful moment the next day, Tuesday, July 29. While appearing together on the "Today" show, the pair pretended to get caught making out on live TV, adding a lighthearted twist to their ongoing media tour.

Back in October 2024, Liam Neeson didn't hold back his admiration for Anderson, expressing how much he enjoyed working with her. "With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with," he gushed.

Anderson, in turn, spoke just as warmly about Neeson, calling him "the perfect gentleman," who "brings out the best in you … with respect, kindness and depth of experience." She added, "It was an absolute honor to work with him."

In 2024, Neeson revealed that he was no longer interested in dating. He had previously been in a relationship with Freya St. Johnston, a U.K.-based public relations executive. They began dating about a year after his wife's passing and were together for roughly two years before going their separate ways.

Neeson never remarried following the tragic death of his wife, Natasha Richardson, in 2009 after a fall on a ski slope in Canada. The New York City Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that her passing was accidental, caused by an epidural hematoma resulting from a blunt head injury. "It was a horrible thing to happen," the actor said.

The two had met while performing in the 1993 Broadway production of "Anna Christie" and married the following year. Her sudden death left Neeson a single father to their two sons, Micheál and Daniel, who were teenagers at the time.

In the aftermath, his priority shifted to supporting his children and maintaining stability. Coming from a modest background in Northern Ireland, Neeson leaned into work, driven by the working-class mentality he grew up with — one that pushed him to accept nearly every opportunity that came his way.

Still, grief remained difficult. In 2014, Neeson shared, "[Her death] was never real. It still kind of isn't. There's periods now in our New York residence when I hear the door opening, especially the first couple of years... anytime I hear that door opening, I still think I'm going to hear her."

The actor also opened up about the moment he arrived at the Canadian hospital, where doctors informed him that Richardson was brain-dead due to brain swelling from her fall. She was on life support, and recalling a pact they had made not to prolong life in a vegetative state, he made the decision to have the machines turned off.

Before doing so, Neeson kept her on life support briefly so that family and friends could say their goodbyes. In the end, Richardson's death gave others a second chance at life as three of her organs, her heart, kidneys, and liver, were donated. Neeson has expressed that she would have been proud to help others in that way.
