She Got Married with Her Late Dad's Best Friend at Her Side — Guess Who She Is

The young woman walked down the aisle surrounded by people who had known and loved her father long before she could remember, and the photos from her latest public appearance are making fans emotional all over again.

She is the daughter of one of Hollywood's most beloved action stars, gone too soon, and has been quietly building a life and a legacy in his absence. Although she isn't a big star on her own right, she just showed up at one of the film world's most-watched events looking so much like him that netizens had to comment.

Growing Up Between Two Worlds

She was born on November 4, 1998, to one of the stars from "Fast and the Furious" and his then-girlfriend Rebecca Soteros. Her early years were spent in Hawaii with her mother, far from the Hollywood world her father inhabited.

That changed in 2011, when at 12 years old, she relocated to Los Angeles to be closer to Paul, a move he openly said changed his life.

He was candid about what having her around meant to him, telling People at the time that his daughter was "a bit more like her mother, but she's also how I am innately," and that she was "more of a free roamer and she appreciates the little stuff."

He had described their bond in the simplest terms years earlier, borrowing words from her mother, "She said, 'Little girls soften their daddy's hearts.'"

A Loss That Reshaped Her Life

In November 2013, her father, Paul Walker, died at 40 after the car he was riding in crashed and exploded in Santa Clarita, California. The driver was also killed in the incident. His daughter was 15 years old.

Rather than retreating from public life, she chose to keep his name and mission alive. In September 2015, on what would have been his 42nd birthday, she announced the launch of The Paul Walker Foundation.

This is an organization dedicated to spontaneous acts of goodwill that empower young people and support ocean conservation, causes that the actor had championed during his lifetime. She was 16 years old when she did it.

From the Runway to the Big Screen

And soon her own professional aspirations were revealed. She stepped into modeling in 2017, and the industry took notice fast. She walked for Proenza Schouler and Alexander McQueen, and later became the face of Givenchy Beauty.

But modeling was only part of her story. Of course, we're talking about Meadow Walker, and she has maintained an active social media presence for years.

Aside from being the founder and president of her father's tribute charity, she is now also the Global Ambassador for Innoceana, a marine conservation non-profit.

She also has millions of followers, and in May 2023, ahead of the premiere of "Fast X," she revealed an image of her cameo in the film with a deeply personal caption:

"The first fast was released when I was two years old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors. Thanks to my dad, I was born into the fast family. I can't believe now I get to be up there too."

She also thanked several people who have supported her and finished with, "I am so blessed to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share this with him forever x." Anyone who has followed her knows that Meadow keeps Paul's memory alive, too, by posting many photos of them together.

A Wedding, a Split, and Moving Forward

In October 2021, Meadow married British model and actor Louis Thornton-Allan on a beach in the Dominican Republic.

The ceremony drew people who had been part of her father's world for decades, including "Fast & Furious" costars Vin Diesel, who is her godfather and walked her down the aisle, and Jordana Brewster.

Sadly, the marriage did not last. In December 2023, the couple announced their split in a joint statement on Instagram, "After three wonderful years of marriage, we have come to the agreement to amicably separate. This is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy."

They added, "We maintain mutual love and respect for one another, and will continue to support each other." Now 27, Meadow appears to be channeling her energy into exactly what her father built: the franchise, the family it created, and the legacy she was born into.

Back with the Fast Family at Cannes

In May 2026, the 25th anniversary of "The Fast and the Furious" brought the cast together at Cannes. Vin, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana were all there, and so was Meadow, front and center with the people who have known her since she was a child, watching monitors on set.

She arrived in a look that balanced polish with ease, a structured black blazer with wide lapels over a white button-down shirt left open, a black belt loaded with oversized metallic charms and medallions, wide-leg blue denim jeans, and pointed-toe white lace-up boots.

Her dark hair was cut into a chin-length bob with soft waves and a slight side part. In several of the photos, she was wrapped in hugs from Vin and the rest of the cast in the kind of embraces that come from family.

Fans Can't Help But See Paul

The photos spread across social media, and the reaction was immediate. On Instagram, fans were struck by the resemblance, with people writing, "She looks so much like Paul ❤️," "Omg she looks so much like Paul now," and "She's so beautiful."

On Facebook, one person shared, "He will always be alive in her❤️ She looks just like him."
