Kim Kardashian from KUWTK Reveals She Had 5 Surgeries after Pregnancy Complications with North and Saint

"KUWTK" star Kim Kardashian shares an emotional story of undergoing five surgeries following pregnancy complications in a holiday campaign for her brand.

The Christmas holidays are upon us, and one of its essences is giving. In the spirit of giving, the 39-year-old mogul uploaded a two-minute holiday promotional video for her brand, Skims.

The "Inspired To Give" initiative was created for women to share their stories and support the causes that inspire them. The holiday campaign features nine women, including Kim, with unique stories of hope and social reasons to fund.

The mother of four bared it all about the complications she battled in her first two pregnancies with North and Saint West. In her campaign, the business mogul revealed that she had to go under the knife five times to fix the scarring caused by pregnancy.

The TV personality went into details of her struggle in the video; she explained that she was diagnosed with preeclampsia in her first pregnancy.

Kim had to be induced for the delivery of her daughter at 34 and a half weeks, six weeks earlier than her due date. Kim also suffered from placenta accreta, a condition where the placenta grows into the wall of the uterus.

The "KUWTK" star said:

"That is what women die from in childbirth."

The first depressing occurrence did not stop the business mogul from trying to have more kids. The 39-year-old disclosed that she continued with freezing her eggs after her daughter's birth which helped her get pregnant with her second child.

Sadly, the reality star suffered the same condition and another awful delivery. It was after her second that the TV personality had to undergo surgery for the damage it caused. She recalled:

"I had to have five different operations within a year and a half to fix the damage that all of that did from the inside."

Kim put a strong face on the exterior through the period of multiple surgeries. The TV star went about her business filming and doing photoshoots barring the public from having any knowledge of her postpartum complications.

The mother of four turned to surrogacy to birth her last two children Chicago and Psalm after doctors advised her against getting pregnant again.

The mogul revealed that she was grateful for the experience and would go through the experience again for the joy of having her children.

In this vein, Kim has added her resources in support of "The Bail Project," a non-profit organization focused on reuniting families and restoring the presumption of innocence by paying bails for people who cannot afford it.

Although this is the first time the reality star is going into vivid details about her pregnancy complications, this is not the first time she is opening up about it.

The Skims owner talked about her struggles in 2017 when she graced the covers of the "Allure" magazine. The mother of four shares North, Saint, Chicago and Psalms with husband, Kanye West.
