In a recent Instagram post, Parton appears in a coordinated denim outfit featuring a structured corset-style top, an open button-down shirt, and high-waisted jeans.
A red scarf tied at her waist adds a signature touch, while her voluminous blonde hair and dramatic makeup complete the look.
She wrote, "Denim's been with me through every chapter of my life. It's comfortable, it's confident and it never goes out of style," introducing Dolly's Joleans, her collaboration with Good American.
In a video shared by Good American, Parton models more pieces from the collection. Wearing wide-leg jeans and a cropped denim top, she poses confidently, with her midriff and waistline on display.
Reactions online have been mixed.

Under Parton's post, one user wrote, "How do you stay shining effortlessly oh my gosh I'm amazed," while another commented, "For a minute there I thought I was looking at Carrie Underwood."
On the E! News Instagram post, some praised her appearance, "Timeless beauty 😍." Others were more critical, including one comment that read, "That is not the skin of an 80 year old! Does she look great for her age? Yes, but this here is not natural [sic]."
Still, supporters pushed back. "Idc how much editing it took to get here, the woman is 80 and she looks phenomenal [sic]!" one user wrote.
Another added, "I really admire Dolly, but I cannot stress enough that this is not 'normal' for 80 and that there is nothing wrong with aging naturally and embracing what a regular body looks like at any age. I worry about the expectations this puts on other aging women."
This is not the first time Parton has sparked conversation over her age-defying appearance, with similar reactions following one of her high-profile performances in recent years.
As reported in 2023, the singer performed during the halftime game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Commanders in Arlington, Texas.

Parton, then 77, stunned fans and viewers with her slim figure, flat stomach, and ageless beauty. Many shared their thoughts on social media, amazed that the entertainer looked so young for her age. "She's 77 and looks 30 years younger. Respect Dolly," one fan wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, another person said:
"She's 77 and has a flatter stomach than I've ever had in my entire life."

The "Islands in the Stream" songstress is undoubtedly aging like fine wine, as emphasized by her outfit. She donned a cropped blue button-down top, tied in the middle to expose her midsection, a cropped white vest with blue star details, and short outfit shorts with blue stars.
Parton was in high spirits as she performed and had her signature long blonde locks in what appeared to be a high half ponytail.
The legendary singer has no plans of slowing down as a performer and hopes to share her talent for as long as possible. She revealed that she will continue working in the industry as long as her health permits.
Dolly Parton tries to stay young by keeping a positive mindset and not thinking about aging through the years. "I don't have time to age," she said about maintaining her youthful appearance. "That's really kind of my line, but it's true."
