Ciara Makes Surprise Visit to Atlanta High School & Interacts with STEM Students Using Her Music to Learn Coding

Ciara makes a surprise visit to Paul Duke STEM High School in Norcross, Georgia as part of a competition organized by the Amazon Future Engineer program.

Ciara has never forgotten her roots, and now that she's being given the opportunity to inspire the youth of Atlanta through a competition with Amazon, she didn't back down.

The contest targets underserved students who may be considered to be at a disadvantage in a technology-driven world.

Ciara balances being a wife, mom, singer, and advocate, yet she's clearly managing it all with grace.

CIARA'S PARTNERSHIP WITH AMAZON AND GEORGIA TECH

Amazon and Georgia Tech are now using their music platform "EarSketch" to put together a music remix competition that teaches kids how to write code that creates good music.

Of the program, Ciara shared:

"Coding is really the way. What I've learned through my experiences with Amazon, in particular in this program, is that it's now almost in some places a requirement to get a job. I said to the kids today, when you walk into a room, you have an extra level of cool by adding coding. You automatically level up your game."

To win the contest, students must compose an original remix of Ciara's song "Set." Members of Paul Duke High School shared some of their remixes to Ciara, much to their amazement.

LIFE AS AN NFL WIFE

Ciara balances being a wife, mom, singer, and advocate, yet she's clearly managing it all with grace. A couple of days prior to her visit to Atlanta, Ciara was seen happily waving pompoms with her daughter Sienna at Russell Wilson's Seattle Seahawks game.

Their little girl could be seen jumping around with a green pompom in hand, cheering for her superstar dad.

ALWAYS A FAMILY AFFAIR

The toddler donned a black leather pullover with her hair tied in a neat bun. Her mom was also dressed in a jacket and a pair of sports shoes to keep comfortable in the cold weather.

Ciara has always been a proud sports wife, attending Russell's games whenever given the chance. Of course, she makes sure to bring along her children and it's always a good family affair.
