Christie Brinkley Celebrated Christmas with Her Family in the Caribbean

Former supermodel Christie Brinkley celebrated a warm Christmas in the idyllic Turks & Caicos Islands, and she made sure to extend her festive greetings to fans despite a "spectacular and exciting Christmas Eve Squall" that made communication difficult.

The mom of three arrived in the Carribean last week, and eager to spend quality time with two of her three children, Sailor and Jack, Christie asked them to "hurry" on home while she had help getting the Christmas tree decorated.

Christie's "babies" joined her on Monday, and the proud 65-year-old mom took to social media on Christmas Eve to wish her fans a joyous Christmas. Alongside a happy snap of herself, Jack, Sailor, and Sailor's boyfriend Ben Sosne, Christie wrote:

"Due to a spectacular and exciting Christmas Eve Squall passing thru the Turks & Caicos I’m not sure this post will get thru, but we’re wishing everyone a Happy Merry Christmas full of Love and JOY!"

Another update showed Christie literally jumping for joy, as she pranced along the shoreline, but giving back to the environment also had her look at the year ahead as she added in a later post:

"Peace on Earth ! Joy to the World! Good Tidings of Comfort and Joy! Merry and Bright! If we would all carry these wishes we offer each other in our hearts every day it WILL be a very Happy New Year!!! Merry Christmas My Friends! PS we just planted these Bouganvillea! Aren’t they so beautiful!"

Christie turned 65 in February, even though she looks and feels much younger than her biological age. To her physical age is but a number, and Christie instead refers to her "spirit age," which comes from everything a person experiences to make them who they are.

The fact that Christie receives the noninvasive ultrasound wrinkle-reducing procedure called Ultherapy doesn't hurt either.

The mom of three is a representative of the pharmaceutical company, Merz North America that offer the procedure, but Christie said her biggest beauty secret lies in her diet.

At the age of 13, Christie became a vegetarian and never looked back. Now, she urges fans to consider doing the same not only for their own sake but for that of the environment as well.

A few months ago, Christie received help from her daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook when she injured her arm. Cast in "Dancing with the Stars," the injury forced Christie to withdraw from the 28th season of the competition, but luckily Sailor stepped in as her replacement.

Sailor not only looks like her mother, but she is also following in her career footsteps. An accomplished model, Sailor entered the industry at the age of 15 and became a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model in 2017 while she also modeled for brands like CAMILLA and 1.State.
