Daily Joke: Joe Invited His Best Friend Over for Dinner

Joe and Bob are friends who both tried to be sweet to their wives after coming home but got different results — poor Bob.

One evening after work, Joe invited his good friend Bob to have dinner at his place. When they reached his home, Joe went straight to his wife and gave her a tight hug.

He also told her how beautiful she was and how much he missed her while at work. During dinner, Joe complimented his wife’s cooking, kissed her on the forehead, and told her how much he loved her.

Later that evening, Bob shared that he was quite shocked over how much affection his friend gave his wife. Joe said that he started doing it about half a year back, and it did wonders on their marriage.

Interested, Bob thought he’d do the same to his wife. When he got home that evening, he went straight to his wife and gave her a tight hug, kissed her, and told her how much he loved her.

Suddenly, his wife started crying. A confused Bob was shocked and worried, so he asked her why she was crying. The wife replied:

“This is the worst day of my life. First, Billy fell off his bike and twisted his ankle. Then, the washing machine broke and flooded the basement. And now, you come home as drunk as can be!”
