Gayle King Shared Photos with Her Grown Kids Kirby and Will as They Spent Family Time in Mexico

Gayle King shares pics from her Mexican vacation with her children as she sadly departs ahead of them.

Gayle King started off her 2020 with a family vacation in Mexico. There were a few mishaps according to the television host who shared scenes from the trip, but it all ended well.

Gayle’s Instagram saw a slideshow of photos featuring her grown-up children, Kirby and Will as they took in the air in Mexico. They were also joined by Kirby’s fiance, Virgil Miller.

Gayle first alerted her fans that she was off to the southern city when she posted a cry for help. Her luggage on board Alaska airlines apparently landed in JFK and not in Mexico. She later shared images of her family sorting it out with an airline employee at the airport where they were assured that their luggage was on their way.

A couple of posts later, Gayle revealed one of her baggage were still not in her possession so she bought a new dress to wear. Then it finally arrived to Gayle's happiness. She hugged her luggage in a photo she also shared.

But on her last day, all appeared to be well because Gayle was thanking Alaska Airlines for giving her family a special treat to make up for the inconvenience.

Along with photos of memorable moments during their trip, Gayle shared a card she received from the airline which seemed to have foot her family’s bill at the famous restaurant, Mantra.

Gayle also disclosed in her caption that though it was her last day in Mexico because she had to get back to work, her kids were staying on. She suggested it was a tearful goodbye but one we’re sure was overshadowed by the beautiful memories her family made during their vacation.

It’s unclear if plans were made during the trip regarding Kirby and Virgil’s wedding though we can expect Gayle to be just excited as the couple to dish on the details. We can hardly forget the time Gayle was so excited about her daughter’s engagement that she pre-empted Kirby’s own announcement. She posted about it before Kirby could.

But it was an important moment for the family because Gayle and Will were there for the occasion. In fact, they surprised Kirby who thought they were in LA when the engagement happened.

Gayle lives apart from her children but they stay connected by sending each other daily selfies. They would find time to travel together too. On moments when Gayle is awarded for her achievements, her children are also there to show their support. That being said, Gayle’s life as a mother is what makes all her accomplishments even more special.
