Jennifer Lopez Talks of Her Dream of Living Somewhere Other Than the US in Vanity Fair Interview
Jennifer Lopez shared how she would love to live a "simpler life" away from the hustle and bustle of the city life in a revealing interview with "Vanity Fair." Her top picks are pretty impressive!
Jennifer Lopez has everything one could possibly ask for. She is famous, she has an amazing career, she looks half her age, and overall, things are going great for her. However, there is one thing that she can't stop thinking about and it might surprise her fans.
The "Hustlers" star is all set to grace the cover of "Vanity Fair" 26th Annual Hollywood Issue alongside Eddie Murphy and Renée Zellweger this year. During the interview for the said feature, the actress revealed some pretty intimate details that include her bucket list and her career.
According to what Lopez shared with "Vanity Fair," she is grateful for the life she has in the United States, but there are a few things she would like to do and one of them is living outside the states. According to her, she would like to live a simple and organic life somewhere.
"I would love to live somewhere other than the United States, in a small town in Italy, or on the other side of the world, in Bali.
Besides her fantasies, Lopez also talked about the entertainers who inspire her the most. Apparently, the pop queen deeply admires some iconic stars including Barbara Streisand, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, James Brown, and Janet Jackson.
Lopez is one of the most popular singers in the world, but she also equally loves acting. Dancing is also one of her passions. Recently, she had the opportunity to channel her love of acting as well as dancing in her new movie "Hustlers."
While Lopez loves music and dancing, acting has a special place in her heart. She revealed how she maintains the delicate balance between her crafts in the interview with "Vanity Fair," saying how she gives her fans "the suspension of disbelief" through a variety of roles.
"You have your first love and the love of your life, and acting is the love of my life. I feel like every time I take on a role, it is only about becoming somebody that I’m not.
As for how the star deals with the expectation that her fans often place on her, she said that her choices never depend on what people think she should do, but rather what she really wants to do.
Besides being a gifted actor, Lopez is also one of the most fashionable stars in Hollywood. Last year, she broke the internet by flaunting the iconic Versace "jungle dress" again after 20 years.

Lopez first made the dress famous two decades ago, but it hadn't lost its charm after all this time. The first time she wore it at the 2000 Grammy Awards, it wasn't because she loved the dress or anything but because she didn't have a choice. Little did she know that the dress would become such a sensation.
The second time, however, was planned. When Lopez and the legendary designer, Donatella Versace, met at the Met Ball last year, they decided that Lopez would be a part of the show that would be about the jungle dress.
The singer agreed but later on, Versace called her up and said that she wanted Lopez to walk at the end of the show flaunting the jungle dress.
The moment Lopez walked out on the ramp with the dress, she felt empowered and thought how life isn't over at 20. She felt amazing in the dress 20 years ago, and 20 years later, the experience only got better.
