Fans of the hit reality show "Counting On" feel frustrated about Jill Duggar's wasted potential as a midwife.

Somebody posted on Reddit, "I think that if Jill went to nursing school and became a certified nurse midwife- she'd actually be a good one… It's sad to see so much potential wasted."

Another person wrote that Jill would be glad doing that as well. Someone else explained you can truly see that the mother-of-two has an extraordinary enthusiasm for midwifery and birthing in general.

TIME WILL TELL

As reported by Cheat Sheet, time will tell if the reality star takes up midwifery once her husband Derick Dillard is out of law school and her children get a bit older.

Derick, who performed missionary work abroad before launching the ministry in 2015, is currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas School of Law.

According to Nicki Swift, Jill, who tied the knot with Derick in 2014, is a college graduate. She held a profitable accounting job at Walmart at the time of the couple's courtship.

THE CONTROVERSIAL TWEETS

Jill and Derick used to be featured on "Counting On." However, they were removed from the show due to Derick's transphobic and homophobic Twitter activity, Cheat Sheet reported.

In August 2017, Derick attacked Jazz Jennings, who is a transgender person. In a now-deleted tweet, he said that "transgender" is a myth and that "gender is not fluid, it's ordained by God."

Like other celebrity mothers, Jill, who shares two children, Israel David and Samuel Scott, with Derick, has been "mom-shamed" on a few occasions.

"NO PLANS"

TLC decided to fire him, announcing that he will no longer be part of the hit show. In a statement, the network said:

"We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future."

The network also explained that Derick's personal statements do not reflect the views of the network, adding that "TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so."

When she posted a photo of herself and her two boys, she was judged as being a neglectful mother because the boys looked "malnourished."

Jill is no longer on TV, but she still posts about her family on social media. While her posts are generally about her life and her children, some of her followers somehow always find something negative to comment about her.
