The Blast: Steve Harvey's Stepdaughter Lori Reportedly Pleads Not Guilty in Hit-And-Run Case

Steve Harvey's daughter, Lori, pleaded not guilty to the hit-and-run charges leveled against her by the authorities after she was accused of leaving the scene of a crash caused by her.

The Blast obtained the legal documents in which Lori Harvey entered her not guilty plea in an LA County Courtroom. After that, Lori was instructed to return to court next month for a preliminary hearing of her case.

The charges faced by Lori include a two-count misdemeanor charge, as well as one-count charges of resisting/obstructing/delaying a police officer, and hit-and-run resulting in property damage, respectively.

Lori got accused of crashing her Mercedes into a parked vehicle, after which she attempted to leave the crash scene. As a result of the crash, Lori's car was flipped over on one side.

Police Officers arrived at the scene and tracked Lori as she walked down a street close to the crash site. It was also reported that during an investigation by the Police, Lori face-timed her dad, seeking advice on how to handle the situation.

Lori Harvey was represented at the LA County Courtroom by her attorney, Blair Berk. If she is found guilty of the charges, the 23-year-old could face the prospect of spending a year in jail.

The recent development comes after Lori, who made her rumored relationship with rapper Future official, celebrated her birthday in Jamaica, for which she took along a mighty entourage with her to the Caribbean nation.

Despite their continuous PDA, Lori's father, Steve Harvey, claimed that he didn't know about his daughter's relationship with Future.

She was joined by her friends, Jordyn Woods, Normani, and Ryan Destiny, and the ladies had a lot of fun, as they popped champagne and partied in celebration of Lori's new age.

Jordyn Woods shared a photo from the party scene, which showed her and the others as they posed for a selfie, wearing beach party attires. She captioned the post, writing:

"Flavors."

Lori Harvey and her boyfriend, Future, have been spending the best of times together, and the rapper was also present for her birthday in Jamaica.

After going public with their relationship, the lovebirds have not been shy about sharing their love on social media, with several pictures and videos of their cute moments together seen by many.

Despite their continuous PDA, Lori's father, Steve Harvey, claimed that he didn't know about his daughter's relationship with Future.

When quizzed by a brave reporter on what he felt about the relationship and if he approved of Future, the media mogul repeatedly replied that he didn't know anything about it.

It is anyone's guess if Steve Harvey knows about his daughter's relationship with Future or not, however, with the constant PDA by the lovebirds, he will get to know about it sooner than later.
