Marj Dusay Fans Left Heartbroken after Death of the 'Guiding Light' & 'All My Children' Actress
Fans around the world are mourning once again with the death of the talented actress, Marj Dusay. Many took to social media to pay her tribute.
Less than a week after the sporting world lost two of its legends, Hollywood mourns the loss of the legendary actress, Marj Dusay. Tributes have been pouring in on social media with one person tweeting,
"My heart is bleeding. Ciao Marj #MarjDusay."

Another fan tweeted that Marj's death felt like a punch in the heart, and thanked the actress for entertaining millions throughout the years. One person wrote,
"RIP to a soap legend [Marj Dusay] who was in on everything daytime… she always gave 110% in her acting."
Another fan wrote that one of the highlights of the actress's career was playing "Alexander Spaulding" on "Guiding Light," adding that she is quite talented. Dusay also got tributes from those whose paths crossed with hers.
A fan recalled meeting her through mutual friends, tweeting that the deceased was always lovely and welcoming. Another wrote that she met the TV star thrice, and learned from her that to be truly happy, she had to "Feel happy."
The actress was all about family and dedicated her time to her children when she wasn't filming.
One person tweeted that for him, the deceased represented love and joy. He recalled an afternoon they once spent together, adding that she was captivating.
Dusay was 83-years old, and she passed away peacefully in her home. Her stepdaughter, Elizabeth broke the news on Facebook writing,
"I'm very sorry to tell you that my stepmother Marj passed away yesterday morning in her sleep."
The stepdaughter added that the actress was "Quite a woman," and lived her life fully. The actress was all about family and dedicated her time to her children when she wasn't filming.
Born Marjorie Ellen Pivonka Mahoney, Dusay rose to fame starring on TV shows. Some of her notable works include appearing in "All My Children."
The deceased also starred in "Days of Our Lives" from '92 to '93, and got several Daytime Emmy nominations. Although she didn't win any, she was a fan favorite.
Once in a while, she appeared on the big screen, but the small screen was her home, and she reigned supreme. Dusay will live on as a legendary actress and a better human being.
